FINEST FISHING EXPERIENCE
Fishing Charters are typically 5 hours departing from one of the Public or Private boat launches on Belews Lake. Fishing equipment, tackle, and bait will be provided. Fishing methods will vary from live bait, casting, and trolling depending on target species. Target fish species will be per the clients request. Typical target species are Largemouth and Spotted Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, White Perch, and Catfish. Time of year, weather, water temperature and conditions will dictate the location of the fish and the level of success. Captain Bob will work hard to provide the best experience and do his best to get you on fish.
Fly Fishing Instruction
Fly Fishing and Instructional Charters are typically 5 hours departing from one of the Public or Private boat launches on Belews Lake. Fly Fishing Charters are limited to two clients per trip to provide the best individual instruction. Fishing equipment and tackle will be provided. Experienced fly fisherman are welcome! Target fish species will be based on time of year, weather, water temperature, and conditions. Learn to cast, fish, and tie all of the necessary knots. Fly Fishing Charters are best during the months of April through September. Captain Bob will work hard to provide the best experience and do his best to get you on fish.
ECO TOURS and SUNSET CRUISES
Bring the family or group out on the lake for a great trip. Limited to 6 clients per trip. Typical trips are 5 hours departing from one of the Private or Public boat launches on Belews Lake. Live acoustic music is available for these trips. Captain Bob is also an established vocalist and guitarist playing local venues solo and also with his band The AfterThought Band. Learn about Belews Lake and it's abundant nature. View the sunset from anywhere on the lake! Sing along with live music. As with the other trips bottled water and snacks will be provided.
